Midnight Revel

December 20, 2006

They told me that thinking of you would be enough
but thinking was just not enough.
To feel you, see you, touch you, be you, would be a wonderful dream.

So I set out to leave my dilapidated home,
anticipating the warmth of your grandiose abode.
My very own Prince Charming.

And it seemed that as soon as our eyes met you felt the same way too.

I reveled in your warmth, never wanting you to leave, for if you were to leave my heart would stop its continuous boom.

I wanted to tell you that I loved you, but love just was not strong enough.

So we slept and dreamed under the soft moonlight, letting the soft drops of dew wet our wanting faces, sharing our innermost secrets with nature.

We stayed like this forever, swimming in a sea of dreams; where lovers revel, and the amorous air makes us love even deeper and stronger.
